Target Workplaces work with key business sectors to develop effective travel plan options for commuter and business travel. These options provide a range of measures tailored to meet the needs of companies to reduce car-based travel and associated negative environmental impacts.  Target measures include:  

• Developing a model for Company Travel Plans
• Improving information and logistics
• Integrated ticketing developments
• Encouragement of the use of bicycles
• Promoting car sharing and car pooling schemes in spatial developments
• Fleet management and the promotion of ‘greener’ fuels
