The City Living Work Area develops activities that address spatial planning aspects in urban areas; with significant integration of  different modes of transport to offer urban dwellers a range of mobility options without recourse to the private car.

Target activities develop, promote and evaluate measures to:

• Promote car sharing and car pooling schemes
• Improve information and signing for walking and cycling
• Integrate ticketing developments
• Implement mobility plans for congested areas
• Address barriers to social inclusion
