Metro (West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive) in partnership with the authorities of Yorkshire and Humber and other bodies, UK.

The Target 2 project is managed by Metro (West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive).  Within the Yorkshire and Humber Region, eight local authorities are actively involved in the  workpackages along with the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority and Carplus. 

Yorkshire and Humber is a large region in North Eastern England, and is strategically located central to the UK’s main transportation networks. The region includes several major towns and cities as well as large rural districts to the north and east of the region. A diversity of economy exists across the region including service industries, leisure and tourism and developing new industries in the digital and bioscience sectors. 

Regional support:
The Target project is supported by three key regional partners:

  • Yorkshire Forward, the Regional Development Agency responsible for the Regional Economic Strategy.
  • Yorkshire and Humber Assembly which is responsible for the Regional Transport Strategy;
  • Target also thanks Government Office for Yorkshire and Humber for their continued support.
