Project Management Board and Thematic Seminar, Bruges. January 2003Target Partners met again for the second time to discuss the development of the project and the dissemination of activities to date. Site visits around the host city of Bruges identified many examples of mobility management measures to address visitor numbers and parking restraints within the city. Bruges are already implementing travel solutions to these problems.
'Sustainable Leisure Travel' was the theme for the Thematic Seminar attended by a number of associated Target colleagues. The four main presentations (edited highlights attached below), illustrate many of the barriers as well as some solutions, relating to leisure activities in rural areas and planning 'a tourist city'.
